ROSNO Group

ROSNO Group is one of the largest insurance groups in Russia. It comprises ROSNO, a universal insurance company of the federal level, and its subsidiaries such as ROSNO-MS insurance company, ROSNO-Centre reinsurance company, Allianz in Ukraine, Allianz ROSNO Life insurance company and Allianz ROSNO Asset Management company.

ROSNO-MS

ROSNO-MS insurance company was incorporated as a public corporation on November 18 1994. Its authorized capital is 200 million roubles.

The company focuses on the obligatory medical insurance segment. ROSNO-MS is the only health insurer which holds licenses for the obligatory medical insurance business in every Russian federal constituent member. Moreover, ROSNO-MS is licensed for voluntary medical insurance within the national territory.

In 2004, ROSNO-MS was ranked ninth among Russian insurers in terms of premiums collected.

Within the obligatory medical insurance system, ROSNO-MS is ranked second in terms of insurance premiums and claims paid, as well as in terms of customer base.

ROSNO-Centre reinsurance company

ROSNO-Centre reinsurance company has been presented on the industry market since June 15, 1994. Its authorized capital is 513 million roubles.

Nowadays, the company is ranked seventh among reinsurers operating in Russia and operates not only on the Russian market, but also in some other CIS countries. As of the end of the year 2004, Inwards Re premiums with respect to contractual obligations were 498 million roubles. Insurance reserves were 290 million roubles.

Since 2003, ROSNO-Centre has held the maximum rating in terms of reinsurance coverage solvency, A++ Re, assigned by Expert RA rating agency. The company writes Inwards Re premiums within Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, other CIS countries and the Baltic states .The most important strength of ROSNO-Centre is that the under-writing and business processes of the company which are in line with international standards. The company, together with ROSNO parent company, has arranged qualitative obligatory protection placed on the western reinsurance market.

ROSNO-Centre boasts some remarkable advantages such as its experience gained in placing facultative risks and its high quality partnership relations with major Russian and global insurance and reinsurance entities, as well as international brokers.

Allianz ROSNO Life

Allianz ROSNO Life insurance company began active operations on the market in September 2004. The Authorized capital of the company was 102 million roubles as of the end of the year 2004. The company focuses on the life insurance business.

Allianz ROSNO Asset Management

Allianz ROSNO Asset Management was established in June 2004 with a view to provide management of assets owned by individual persons and corporate entities.

As of the end of the reporting year, Allianz ROSNO Asset Management joined the top ten asset management companies operating on the Russian market. The Authorized capital of the company is US$10 million, total assets under management are in excess of US $160 million.

Allianz Ukraine

Superadded liability company Allianz (Ukraine) was registered on August 30, 2005 (until October 01, 2007 the name of the Company was ROSNO Ukraine Insurance Company). The Company has a subsidiary dealing with life insurance Àllianz Life.

The owner of the company is Allianz Group. Allianz SE is one of the world’s most important insurance companies and financial service providers. The company was founded in 1890 in Munich, Germany.

The strategy of Allianz in Ukraine specifies operation in all the sectors of the Ukrainian insurance market. Allianz is a composite company having licenses for realization of 29 insurance types and operating in the area of risk insurance.
