Our social responsibility

ROSNO purposefully follows socially responsible business policy. Our company traditionally provides sponsorship and charity support to the socially significant projects. Listed below are some of the successfully implemented projects in various fields of our company’s socially responsible activities:

Nature protection

Since 2006, ROSNO has held membership in the WWF Russia corporate club (the Worldwide Fund for Nature).

Sports

ROSNO has always paid much attention to supporting our domestic sports. ROSNO provides insurance coverage for numerous Russian sporting clubs and teams, sports federations and professional sporting leagues. For the seventh year in a row, our company cooperates with the Russian Olympic Committee, being the official insurer for all members of the Russian team (including insurance coverage provided during the recent Olympics 2006 in Turin). ROSNO is the chief sponsor of the Moscow International Hockey Tournament, which has carried the «ROSNO Cup» name since 2004.

Preservation of Russian cultural heritage

Since 2004, ROSNO has been providing support for the State Russian Museum.

Social aid

Our company has acted as an organizer and participant in a number of charitable events, including financial aid to the victims of the Beslan tragedy, payment for rehabilitation of the Russian People’s Artist Mr. Nikolai Karachentsov, sponsorship support for the charitable marathon named «Serving the good» for financing of expensive medical treatment of children. In 2005, ROSNO supported the events associated with celebration of the 60th WWII V-Day anniversary.
